Why fly into Lyon

Three practical reasons: flights are often cheaper, the airport is calmer than Geneva at Saturday changeover, and there is no border to negotiate. The transfer is more motorway and less valley road, which means weather affects it less. For Courchevel, Meribel, Val Thorens, Tignes and Val d’Isere, Lyon deserves a proper comparison rather than being treated as second choice.

How the price works

Per vehicle, not per person, fixed at the time of booking. Standard takes up to eight passengers, VIP up to seven in a higher specification vehicle. Weekday, Saturday and Sunday rates differ, because Saturday is changeover day and the Tarentaise fills with traffic for every resort at once.

Meeting your driver

Your flight is monitored and the driver meets you inside the terminal. Lyon is compact and easy to be met in, which is part of its appeal on a busy winter Saturday.

How long the drive takes
